hi all, are ka any good. i need a cheap run around for the missis. she likes but i dont know a lot about them. found a 97model with 91k on the clock, mot till sept, 1mths tax, 5 owners. in ok condition. for £500. deal or no deal.

 

deal mate. they are gd wee cars. i would have one for my self as a run around.

my other half has one and gr8 wee car had no probs with it.

91K on the old endura engine, sadly I don't think there would be too much life left in it

The rust quickly though! My sportka's 4 years old now and has rust around the rear wiper and the passenger sill is just starting too!

Most common area's on the ka the check for rust would be around the rear wiper, around the fuel cap area, sills and if possible, have a look under the rear arches

 

cheers people. iv just had a look at it, it looks fairly good its got a few bits of rust around the filler cap. and thats it. very basic thow. guna swap it for a 306 xsi and £100. deal i think
