Default My new intercooler airtec

Hi guys my airtec intercooler came today

Just need help, need to know where one or two brackets go and can u tell me if i have wired up the fan right plz cause i can start it yet till the intercooler is fitted on, thakns alot rab

did you get the instruction leaflet with the cooler mate as i just bought and fitted one of these and i got the instructions and it was a doddle to fit!!!
the brackets bolt onto your front panel all you have to do is get the intercooler sitting at the correct height you want it with the brackets bolted on and get one of your mates to hold it in place then drill through the panel and bolt it on easy peasy!!
as for wiring the fans you wont know until you start the car and see if they are wired correctly they will suck or blow then take it from there

Yea mate i got them we the intercooler, just there are 4 brackets that come as you know, 2 that go on each side and theres a L shaped one for the bottom and a bigger one whit like a bullets coming out of it for the top. I know where the two side ones go but the top and bottom?? are they to take the whight?? have u got pics of your one mate if so it would be a grate help thanks.

is your intercooler the older square style or the newer style with the airflow plate on the passenger side !!! offhand i remember the front 2 that you know about and the bullet shaped one bolts on top of your intercooler on the passenger side and the bullet shape fits inside the rubber bit on the slam panel!! i dont have pics offhand as im offshore just now but im back on monday so if your still stuck i can take photos for you if required!! also if your after any bits ive got loads spare

Got every thing workin fine mate , What a diffrance it makes

One problem tho ma rad just burst had a feeling it would was in a bad way, No worrys tho just bought the alloy rad from them two.
