Do somebody know if you can see the different or only when you take a closer look. I have a set of brown pop out windows for my s2 I'm not sure if they look good when the rest is in the orginal colour .
Got any one pics ??

IIRC It's quite subtle.

 

i had s1 pop out windows in my old s2. you can deffo see the difference in colour for sure.
keep with the s2 rear quarters mate!!

 

as your from germany, can you not source the green tinted versions ????.

Do not replace green windows with brown - try to get green or clear ones.
I had brown, now have clear ones and i'm still searching for green.

 

I changed the front glass to bronze tint as well to keep it matching. Wouldn't be without my opening rear 1/4's now.

 

i think its very noticeable but thats cos i fit glass all day...the rest of the glass is easy to get hold of in bronze so you could make them all match

 

I have bronze and love the look, they look darker thane the fronts like a lot of cars out the factory nowadays. No way would i want them green.

 

I have a full set of browns in mine but didnt get round to sticking the drivers one in, when they are wet they stick out like a sore thumb (but the drivers one is clear which doesnt help!)

 

hows that rear link suspension getting on mate ????.

Its going in to be strength tested next week, so all being well! Its looking pretty good up till now, fingers crossed!

 

I went and got green glass when I had my last one (silly money too Ł110 with rubbers IIRC), it's subtle but realy pissed me off after a while

 

thort bout fitting opening rear quarters to my s2 but i dont think it looks right because on the front windows u can see the black rubber around them,then on the rears they are on the inside.and u cant see them very well,so looks like the rubber is missing.

 

Everyone missed a right bargain on ebay the other week. There was a guy selling 3 sets of green opening rear quarters, Ł28.85 buy it now for the pair with Ł10.85 postage. I almost bought all 3 sets, but just bought the one in the end cos I thought that was a bit greedy. Got them within a few days and they are pukka ford ones sealed in the pack and everything.

I bought a set of bronze ones for the fixtures and fittings and thought they looked gash with the green. Down to personal choice at the end of the day.
