I have a mk5/6 escort rear disc beam,, loads of life in discs/pads/shoes with a new handbrake cable off my mk6. Looking for £80, collection only from Bracknell in Berkshire.

 

I'm interested but how easy would it be to remove the red paint from the calipers?

What would be involved in fitting this to my mk6 escort? Brake hoses etc.

 

Wire wheel on a drill will get rid of the paint on the calipers.The beam is on a mk6 escort atm, so its just a case of unbolting yours and bolting this one on. It comes with the mk6 handbrake cable (which is almost brand new) and the correct brake hoses (Braided)
It's less straight forward if your car has abs though.
