He must have had them set too tight. Mine were perfect and wouldn't drive a fast RST without them.

Doh too late, Rally Design do the stainless ones for about 1/2 the cost of the same item at Demon Tweeks

NEVER be tempted to get those aluminium ones on Ebay - they are only reserved for Nova's as they are crap.

Paddy a small dent in the bonnet is better than a smashed windscreen and a large dent in the roof sometimes. If they are fitted correctly then there is NO reason why they should pull on the panel. Our secret is to fit a tiny nut and washer under the inside of the rivit head when fitting (inside the bonnet)

I got Nikki a set of the locking ones & she had them fitted yesterday. No dents in the bonnet altho the person doing it was shitting bricks incase he fooked it up and no it wasn't me fitting them and the do look pretty good. I've got a set for mine just need to get them fitted now as I've got the bonnet raised at the back but touch wood no problems as yet of it unlatching itself. Mine will be fitted shortly tho. I think the locking ones were around £15 from Rally Design
