Default Fuse melted in fusebox .. how to fix

my ignition fuse melted in my fusebox and the box itself is a bit melted as well luckuliy my missus got it out but coulndt really stuck a new one in or could but wasnt working (battery might be flat ??? due the blowing up?) what could i use as a temp fix?

its probably caused by my radio

There isn't a lot you can do when this happens. If it's not too bad, try cleaning it up. If it's fooked then you will have to lift the box out slightly and solder a pair of wires to the origional wiring and then run it to a seperate fuse..

Or fit a new loom.....

Find out what caused it first. Doubt it was the radio itself. Had a prob that burnt out many wires and scared the shit out of me, turned out to be faulty sunroof that had pushed the rod against the interior mirror shorting it out on a 30 amp fuse that was meant to be 5

i had to solder the remote fuseholder wires onto the fan fuseclips in this one... the clips were irretrievably melted into the plastic....
