was driving the cossie nice and sedatly started to hear a rumbling that got louder and louder,thinking the worse as i have just had a diff fitted i thought great been sold a shagged one! so took it back to the garage where it was fitted he drove it and thought it was the prop any way they jacked it up checked the diff and prop nothing wrong turns out my nearside rear wheel nuts had started to pull through the alloy turns out it had normal steel wheel nuts fitted and ive driven round like it for 2 yrs

also found out my rear callipers are siezed so finally gonna get my high specs afitted and all new rear brakes

thats why you MUST you the proper alloy wheel nuts with the loose tapered collars.

Ive had that happen to me too mate.On the rollers at AVA and the lad stopped and said "Sounds like a wheel is about to come off"

Had a look and,yep right enough front wheel bolts had almost pulled through the wheel.Would never have made it the 25mile trip home
