Fuckin hell that looks absolutely amazing! Always amazes me the lengths people will go to when restoring cars and the attention to detail/original parts, mine's nice n tidy but somethin like that would have to be just an ornament....couldn't bring myself to drive a car done to that standard and see it all deteriorate!

do they sell it all bent to shape for a particular car or do you have to buy a roll then cut it to length?
From what he has told me he has only used new parts where he's had too! most of the genuine parts have been acid dipped and then repainted/coated and the calipers zinc plated. It really is something else to look at and the time he's spent is immense!
The engine looks like a brand new engine just delivered from Ford but again it's his own hard work to get it like it is! just the oil cooler sandwich plate took him 10 hours to restore!!!! i'll be goin back over to see him in a few weeks so will take more pics then!
It should be ready for this years show season all going well!!!!

an absolute credit to the owner mate. Its not very often that you get someone going to such lengths with special attention to detail. The fact that by the sounds of things most parts are restored is another credit to him, and to get them to such a standard is a real credit to his efforts.
Be great to see the car once finished in the flesh

That is going to be one lovely motor.
Fair play to your mate there has been some hours put into that.
Did it need much bodywork done etc before painting etc ??
As said above, thought he would have acid dipped the block and de-coked
the pistons etc, plus is that an old water ump or new one ??
Send him over to http://www.seriesoneturbo.co.uk/ as the lads over
there are spot on and love resto's etc. Great site too for info.
Is he showing it this year ie concours ???

Before the car was taken off the road it was running extremely well and the motor had not long been rebuilt so he is confident the internals are still sound and as far as i am aware its a new water pump.
He is hoping it will be ready for show season and if it is,it will be on the South Wales Group stand at shows! he is considering entering it into the concours awards but has'nt made a decision yet!
Here are some more pics.
