How much do they catch by?
When I put new discs and pads on the Saph, the 7 spokes wouldn't fit anymore!
(They had been on for 6 months before)
It was just the casting lip on the caliper that was scraping the inside of the spoke, so Dremel in hand, the cast was polished smooth - no more problem.
Personally I hate spacers, but I suppose needs must if it cant be smoothed.

Is it catching by much? If in doubt get the grinder out! just be sensible. I`ve taken a fair bit from mine now even more than in the picture but had never heard of any body else having problems and just thought i had the "wrong" wheels.

rs7 are common for doin this kinda thing, they dont like fitting over many brake packages.
spaceing is an option just it has the add on effect, like tyres and arches, like u say longer bolts, personally if its only a little id start grinding and see how much i can take off before spaceing the wheel.

Like i say iv spaced with washers and it clears then measured the washer and it was 5mm but the bolts were only just biting. i dont wont want to grind cos i dont want it looking a mess. im off to halfords tomoz to get some proper 5 mm spacers!
Had this problem on mine when i fitted FOCUS RS BREMBO,S. You will need 5 mm spacers and longer bolts.Anymore than 5 mm and you will need HUBCENTRIC SPACERS as there will be no flange on the hub left showing and the wheel will wobble when driven.
Some pics of mine might help.
(I needed 15 mm spacers)

For saftey ,when you fit the spacers the longer bolts must turn at least 8 times before they are tight.
