Going to put my spare engine back together tomorro as the 1 in the car has died I'm going to leave the 'box in the car and just swap engines over. All I want to know is if I start at say 9:15am (after dropping the kids off) should I be done in time to pick them back up at 3:15pm? Surely I should have time to spare?
Any thoughts.........

 

get someone to help you u'll get it done quicker..providing theres no hiccups etc then u shuld be okay but i wouldnt risk it...im doing my engine swap on the weekend. hope i was a bit of help!

 

use a ramp and drop the box with the engine, will take a day if you get stuck into it !

 

it takes me a full day to swap them over but that is gearbox the lot.surprise how much the small jobs add up like hoses etc.

 

you'll do it easy mate. If you have engine hoist and half decent tools

110 god took them ages to remove that engine
id do it over a weekend mate dnt wanna risk not having it done and forgetting parts or not tightening engine bits
