Default Who works for sky? upgrade q's

I remember a couple of threads before from people who worked for sky, just can't remember who! I know their doing offers on sky+ and HD at the moment but I was wondering whether there were any other deals around for existing customers?

My parents have sky+ and normal sky multiroom with all packages ( films + sport etc ) god knows how much their paying! But dad is looking into upgrading to sky hd, so I was wondering whether we'd have to pay any extra a month, im not sure if he still pays monthly for sky+, he think he is, but I thought they'd stopped that now

If he phones up would they be able to offer any deals to upgrade?

Not sure if that makes sense up there! hopefully it does

The other question was, if we were to upgrade the + to hd, could we use the old sky+ box instead of the ordinary sky without paying any extra?

It'd be £80 as he already has a sky subscription. The £50 is for new customers only.

**Edit**

Just realised he's got multiroom, therefore it will possibly will be free

would be £49 for hd box, free installation, £9.75 per month hd sub, and yes you could use plus box but wouldn't have record function unless you ran another bit of cable from the dish (1 to view, 1 to record) The LNB does have 4 outputs though so all is good!
