changed my temp sensor on the head

the gague seems to read alot higher now fan comes in at 3/4

runs just a bit over half

before it was a lower reading with old sensor

do you guys know if there are different sensors

i got mine from allwoods as ford didnt have one in

seems a bit weird unless some thing else is letting go lol

 

Yes there are different sensors, although i cant remember which colour sensor you need lol

 

i went to ford the other week for one of these..i needed a pink sensor but ford say they are all the same as they arent calibrated..sure someone can confirm if this is true or the bloke on the counter was talking shite.

 

Iv just got used to mine reading higher. Highest it gets is about 3/4 up now.

 

if ur worried bout temp get on of them thermostats and switches off ebay (lower temp)my fan comes on quarter way up now

 

looked at the sensor today its got a blue ring on it if this helps dont think my fan is cutting in all the time maybe the switch

bloody rs turbo we still got to love them lol
