my head gasket has gone so i removed the head and that is been skimmed, but do i need a new zvh low comp plate??

Woudlent have thought so mate, take it to your enigne builder/machine shop and check it hasnt warped.

 

just went and had a look, but... i cant see no plate it should have one right??????? or am i just stupid

 

Does it have standard pistons? It might have low comp pistons in it. If you don't know I would try and find out from whoever did the conversion. If it's running standard Zetec pistons then it'll be running at far to high a compression ratio.

 

oh yeah forgot i got low comp pistons in it!! dohhh!!
