Hi guys am looking for a local garage in Aberdeen, Who tunes and knows there way round a Escort RS Turbo.

Hmmmm you may struggle TBH, depends exactly what you want done, i think your best bet would be Jim King in Inverurie or Ricky Gauld in Huntly, that's about as local as you'll get, the other places round here just do Jap cars and probably wouldn't really know what's best for your RS.

Its just really a tune up and in time chiped. Would like some good advice aswell.

not aberdeen but isnt si-tech out by perth way? not that far to travel really and his work is top notch

Sitech Racings cost for set-up is Ł150

Rabs car has already been chipped.

kl, was just on his sitew that includes an engine check 2, sounds gd to me, spoke to him at crail sound lad.

Si if ma car has been chiped befor will aye need to do it agen??

What do aye do to get the full power out ov it am only runnin 7 psi ?? Cause am wantin to put ma big intercooler on then that should bring me up to about 170-80bhp am a right??

what dose a set up do??

Sorry to hijack, Si do you rolling road them to set them up I might bring my S1 up when mot'd to get it set up I'm wanting to run 12-14 psi i already have a chipped ecu to put in.

Hi Rab,
Correct the car does not need chipping again, as the chip is still fitted in the ECU.
Fit the front mount and wind the boost up to 15psi yes it should give about 170 to 180 on a standard engine, but you will have to get the ingnition and fuel checked before you wind it up past 12psi.

I dont yet have a rolling road, but its is coming soon (fingers crossed).

I do all my setting up on the road with my diagnostic equipment. You also get my 17 years experiance of tuning.

Oh ok thats good to know well fittin the intercooler the day, So will getting a set up sort out the ingnition and fueling??
