Default anyone had these problems on a rear disc conversion?

hi all,
i know this has probably ben asked before somewhere but i have searched the forum and cant find help on these points. i have got the kit for the rear disc conversion, solid discs 253mm i think they are xr4i. they are going on an xr3i 1990 rally car. i have brake lines in car and hydraulic handbrake. my question is, are the regulators in the engine bay? just under the fusebox? as the brake lines go through them in my current set up, also will i need a bigger master cylinder? i have s2 rst brakes up front, lastly will the wheels stick out further at the back after the conversion? i havnt got any room to allow this! thanks in advance for advice.

1.regulators are in the engine bay, follow the brake lines out of the master cylinder and you will see them.I threw them away!!!
2.the current master cyl should be ok
3.Yes they will stick out about 5mm to 10mm more.
Regards,Micky

yeah i binned my in-bay regulators too, my setup now consists on a 2 outlet rst master cylinder, a single line for the rear run to an in car bias valve, and then a t-piece under the back end, with a line to each caliper

and yes the rear wheels will stick out roughly 5mm more than on the standard drums

wow love those adjustable rear arms. temptation to by now!! so i will have to space my front wheels out aswell ye? what will happen if i dont ditch the in bay regulators? i have run through them in my current hydraulic handbrake in car brake pipe set up. i have bias valve ready. what exactly do these regulators do? are they definately xr4x4? they are 253mm solid discs. thanks for all the advice!!!
