Found some one who has some of the original motorsport use bronze bushed 2.4 turn quickracks in stock.
Not to be confused with the 2.7 ones or the cheap imports places like Rally Design sell. These are full rack and pinion quickracks (some 'kits' out there only change the rack and are useless)
Price is £255 delivered snd there is only about 6 left in stock.
No exchange item needed - outright purchace of the proper product.
If anyone is interested I will run a GB in the trade section.

Some spec & info:
Gp4 24mm diamater heat treated rackbar. Spline rolled pinion for added strength to stop radial distortion on the splines. (very common on the cheap kits)
Phosphor Bronze bushes used on the bar locations with double o-rings. Bronze slipper pad used on the pinion with pre-compressed spring.
Steering arms are brand new and have 11mm extra length added each side for any extra camber requirements if required.
Rack is pre run in on the bench and the preload is set tighter than standard.
Casing is black powder coated with new gaitors fitted.
Outright purchace non exchange. Proper motorsport item.
Seems to be about 3 or 4 interested so far so it looks like it could be a goer

Do you run one of these tony? Just wondering what they're actually like and the differences (improvements) you get i.e much sharper turn in? How heavy does the steering become lol?!

Have enquired about LHD stock as they do supply others into Europe Peter.
I have run QR's for years in competition.
When the car is moving you will hardly notice any difference in feel but the turn in will be much much sharper, and down to its pre load it feels much more positive. Obviously 2,4 turns lock to lock instead of 3.7 ( i think std are) also means than your arms aint constantly busy.
Downside is at parking speeds they are much heavier to turn, but we dont have powersteering anyway so you should be used to that.
Still awaiting pictures but so far we seem to have deffinatly interested at the price above

Blue = sorted or due in
