Default turbo oil return hose

i'm talking about the bit of rubber hose that joins the metal oil return pipe that comes off the bottom of the turbo core to the little stubby tube in the sump.

mine got a small hole in it on saturday morning and pissed oil everywhere. i just went to the local ford dealer and looked it up, and they quoted me 58 Euro plus tax i can't believe that for a couple of inches of rubber hose.

i got the finis code 1639238 from them, can anyone please check if it's right, and how much it would be in england? maybe he's given me the part number and price for the steel pipe?

that is a rip off as well. the metal pipe can be bought from cosworth for 26.22 + vat and p&p, but they don't do the rubber hose.

this is what they look like from ford now, nothing like the original.

i'm sure that you can get the same from samco for way less than 30 quid for a 130 mm piece of 17mm id silicon hose with a 25 degree bend near the middle.

here's a pic of the broken one, massive split in it. good job i found it when i did, i was about to do a 300 mile round trip on the motorway. that wouldnn't have been good to be loosing oil and then spin some crank bearings or worse.
