My brother just bluetoothed a video file from his phone to mine, his being an N96 mine being a Sony K850i it wouldn't let me play the file once it had uploaded, however I've just downloaded the file from my phone to the computer and it's working fine.

Any ideas why it won't play back on my phone??

Probably encoded in a format that your phone doesn't support, but the Nokia, and the computer, does. Might be MP4 with I don't think the Sony phones support.....
