Default cosworth misfire cyl 1

can annyone help got an annoying misfire on plug 1 changed all plugs leads cap rotary arm ignition amplifier when i pull plugs out 3 are normal and plug 1 is sooty

Maybe a injector leak. I had the same on my ex Sierra, it was the earth lead to injector, that was unisolated and earth in fuel rail, then it it was open all time. Check wire

Temporarily swap the injector plugs with cylinder 2 to set if it comes back alive.

Take injector clip off injector 1 and check both wires are seated in the connector properly

If not then push them home

If they are, then try swapping an injector or an injector plug as per Simon

Swap the spark plug from no1 cyl to no 2 cyl to find out if you have a dodgey spark plug.

LOL, Remove spark plugs from engine first otherwise you may blow the inlet manifold off
