Default Best way 2 wash my cab?

At the weekend,if the weather is ok, im gonna give my car a good wash, wax, and whatever else it needs.nly prob is ive only ever used car shampoo b4 but want to do a proper job including cleaning the roof (standard soft top not mohair),getting all the old sticker residue off and cleaning the engine bay.
Can someone do a good step by step guide on doing all this and the products to use?

I dont think anyone on here would be willing to sit and type all of that, they would be here all night

Best bet is look here http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/

They have a forum too, complete with threads on how to wash/wax etc

Yeah!! We got some albanians round our way that do an absolute mint job inside and out for Ł10. I dontknow if they`d get all the stickers off tho and tbh i wanted to sort out a few blemishes that should keep it looking ok until i can afford a proper respray.

Here's how I do mine.....

Very weak solution of TFR sprayed all around the lower region of the car
Hose the car down using a hose pipe fitted with a adjustable pressure attachment
Treat wheels with a spray non-acidic wheelcleaner
Bucket of soapy hot water with SMARTWAX Shampoo and clean sponge, rinsing sponge out in a bucket of warm water after every panel and use a seperate sponge for the wheels
Rinse the soap off with a hose pipe and Chamios down rinsing the chamois periodicaly with a clean bucket of water
Once dried thoroughly apply a suitable polish, polishing on with a suitable applicator and polishing off with a clean cloth
Treat all plastics with SMARTWAX DRESSING rubbing on with one cloth rub off with other
Rub SMARTWAX DRESSING into the roof starting on drivers side top and working my way down the roof in lengths
Using SMARTWAX WAX I wax the whole car a panel at a time
I use SMARTWAX RIMWAX on the wheels, taking them off one at a time and rub the wax on and rub off again with clean cloth
i use SMARTWAX Tyre dressing for each of the tyres
I use Autoglym Super Resin for the windows inside and out

Finally i go over every panel and every part of the car with a clean microfibre cloth, as soon as its dirty i use a fresh one.....

ok my mistake i got it slightly wrong but here you go guys

cleaning it

vinyl just use warm water and plain soap make sure there no wax in it or it will make the vinyl brittle and then crack so just use washing up and warm water and soft scrubbing brush then risin with clean water

waterproofing and keeping it shiny and help to protect it from going brittle

believe it or not, wd40 will do it, spray it on lightly, buff in with a new shoe shine brush, then wipe the excess off with a cloth, hey presto, nice shiny waterproof roof,

hope this helps
