Where are the rust hotspots on these cars and anything else that should be looked for?

front inner wings
bottom corner where the door meets te sheel
top as per above
boot floor
by headlights

they should have much rust as they are galvanised,

check the rear beam isnt seized, very commen

if it feels flat, it's probably a worn out afm

rear brakes are rubbish

Wow I never new that. Always wondered why the one I had was totally utterly rust-free! Was an E plate and I had it in about 1998 so wasn't a new car even then by any means.

ive got one and i love it, if it idles funny then dont worry, they all seem too at some stage! as said, check rear beam, knocking is never a good thing, neither is squeeking!

if it has rust then there shouldnt be much, if it has lots then that suggests its had a shunt/repair at some stage!

oh,and dont worry if the temp looks a little high on the gauge!its done in degrees rather than cold to hot, mine always sat at about 3/4 when warm which was apparently right, unlike every other car that likes to sit half way up.
