I am passing through France, Germany, Belgium and Austria at the end of March, and was thinking if it is worth putting the cat back on my exhaust? Not sure how strict etc the rules are in other countrys? Wouldn't want the car being stopped for some reason and then taken away or something. Car in question is a Saab 9000 tuned to "stage 3"

Depends if you're insurance/breakdown cover is declared. I wouldn't worry about the laws of the country though.
I'm curious, what does a stg3 consist of on a Saab 9000!? I didn't realise people evem tuned them

stage 3 consists of 3" downpipe, full exhaust, filter, ecu remap.I'm running 1.25 bar of boost.
The car was rolling roaded standard 0.4 bar boost and made 173bhp, stage 3 made 278 bhp and 325lbft. Not bad, whole car and tuning cost me about £1200!
