Default Thermostat switch???

I have been told that i can get a switch for the thermostat that will make the fans kick in earlier than normal but its not the 82 degree stat, from what i gather it makes the fans kick in earlier than the 82 degree stat as well but dont quote me on that cuz i really dont know anything about it. Does anybody know anything about this or even have one and know where can i get one from?

Thanks

Steve.

Maybe your looking for this? or this?

Ive never tried it on an Rs Turbo though.

Bear in mind that the thermostat doesnt activate th fans, the fan switch does.

Have u got a front mount cooler? Since i had the front mount cooler fitted the coolant temp is a lot hotter and my fans dont kick in till just over 3 quarters of the way up the gauge. That stat is well cheap worth a go if u say the fans kick in that early.
