Mk5 Esc Clocks. RPM with rs turbo loom

Ive had a convertion from Escort Cabriolet 1.4 k reg MK5 to an rs turbo everything. I cant get the RPM to work from the mk5 dash clocks to the rs turbo 2 ecus loom..

Any help would be gratefull!!!

You need to find the rev counter trigger input in the original car loom and connect this
to the negative side of the ignition coil.
