Our opinion? Jade Goody is splashed over every paper, so a discussion or two will take place. If you or her don't like it, then it's tough shit! If I didn't want everyone knowing or discussing something, I wouldn't put it all over the news. Not everyone will have a nice thing to say, although I don't think I said anything wrong personally.

The problem with the internet is that people don't realise there are people out there who don't agree with them purely as they don't sit in the same circle of friends. That is called society and opinion should differ as it makes life what it is.

If we all thought the same thing and said things within everyones comfort levels the world would be very boring and people would very easily misunderstand.

There are members on this forum, who may well be suffering with a similar illness, or have a loved one, or a relative or someone they know in the same position, who may not appreciate some of the comments being made.....

When it comes to Death, it is a very touchy subject... regardless of whether you are 'slagging' her off, 'praising' her, or even 'critisising' her.

I am asking you to be a little more considerate... thats all... its not TOO much to ask.

no one will wish cancer of any sort on anyone im sure.

 

of course cancer is a sensitive subject, but that particular thread had nothing in it that would cause offence to anyone who has had to deal with it.

the only reason that it seemed to get closed is that the OP didn't want any disagreements with his opinion - well that's tough shit if you put something up on a discussion board

Well said Beef. An aunt of mine was diagnosed with cancer and it was very touch and go for a while, fortunately she has now been given the all clear and is getting on with life. However reading about it on the internet does not make it in any way a touchy subect for me. Simply if you dont like other peoples opinions, read it and have a moan to yourself then scroll down to the next post. Its THAT easy. If someone you spoke to on the street had a differing opinion to yourself you wouldnt go to the police station and demand them to be charged with something. Some people are blowing things waaay out proportion on the internet recently.
