i wheeled the old bus out of the garage today and gave it a wash and it got me thinking about how much fun it was with the old 500 engine in it (its got a standard engine in it just now ) on standard rims and 205 tyres and i realised that i miss the surprise the R1 riders get as an 18 year old standard looking sierra breaks traction at over 100mph as it starts to pull away from them

so i had a rummage round at the bits in the workshop and i have much of the stuff needed already..

spec will be.....

low comp bottom end (in stock )
touring car spec head(as above)
T4 (obviously) (as above)
BD10 cams (as above)
eek4 plenum and throttle body (as above)
L8 ecu (bought one on e bay 2 hrs ago )
4x 750cc injectors (need ot buy these )
1xbosch 044 pump as this provides enough fuel for well over 500bhp running a -8 line
500 intercooler again i need to buy this
breater system...need to buy this asweel
air injectors...bought a set off spadge 2 days ago

peteh......no reason it was waht was on the car when i bought it,,,,martin h drove the car from brunters to brum that day and actually commented it was the best driving (sandardish road suspension) 3 door he had driven in years

I had a go in it on that famous day... we were just passing 170 when I asked kev what brakes he had! I almost SHAT myself when he replied 'standard' and he still had his foot FLAT to the floor on the throttle
