Of course its electric.... so's my FiA master switch
Never put any of them nasty pull cable things that get stuck and never work on our cars
Mark it makes no difference - just re-wire it like you would a bell or speaker.
Dont be tempted to cut and shut the wiring. Keep it 1 piece all the way from the plug to the switches too
May have some nice thin twin core somewhere knocking round the garage if your stuck.

Looking at this pic mine's a Lifeline - but they can only be similar.
They come with a huge nasty box your suppost to screw to the panel
but we strip out the inside circuit board and re-mount it onto the back of the face plate you see above. That way you get a flush fitting panel which looks neater

Plus it saves about 180 grams in weight
The other red button is linked to my FiA master switch as I hate them big red plastic key handles

Wire it as a circuit so that the buttons (when pressed) complete the circuit from the positive charge sent down the wire from the 9volt battery to the resistor in the bottle neck. You need 1 inside accessible by both the crew and one outside for the scruit's.
Remember they have both battery check and arming system circuits in the box.
If you get stuck and the cars driveable Im sure we can do this for you (were 1 mile from 3 sisters)
Andy there are no rules on spaceframed cars with an engine originally designed for the car. (Metro 6R4's still run under this rule). The trouble came a few years back when things like The Plants Reliant Kitten appeared with spaceframed light chassis and motorbilke engines. Looks alot of work tho'
