for the past year ive been building a mk xr2. i bought it as a running road worthy car, then decided to rip it to bits and restore it to near mint condition. so far ive striped it down to a bare shell cut off and replaced both front wings, both sills, both rear quarters, inner arches,front inner wings, crossmember. its all in primer rite now and im stuck on choosing the colour. im colour coding the bodykit and want the car looking stuning. anyone with any suggestions? must b a ford colour and posibly have pics for me to get an ideaof how it would look

 

i love the red 1's but i would say that

 

stratos silver. i had my 1.4S resprayed an it looked awesome when fresh..

 

not too sure what blue it is tho,

 

and this is my white one

just dont forget to have the black around the windows,otherwise it will look like a replica,unless you paint it black

 

an got a mercury grey one and the kit was colour coded when a got it looked good but not my thing so going back to black kit

There is only 1 colour in my opinion if you are going to colourcode the kit as well,and thats mercury grey.i haven,t got a pic although there was a pik of one in either performance ford or fastford magazine at the back end of 2008...the car looked stunning...

 

How about Java Blue



would look tasty on an xr2 i think
