Thats the best way.
Use the crank sensor from a 2.0ltr Zetec in the correct carrier and use the EFI (Late XR3I, Fiesta RS etc) flywheel.

Matt.

zvhturbo - that wont help with Cosworth management which uses 4 pickup points - the EECIV flywheel has 32-1 (or 36-1 cant remember) so you'll need to have the flywheel machined and a bit of metal let into it to complete the 4 pickup points on 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.

mine uses a bracket that has been alloy welded to the sump, a cosworth crank sensor and bracket and a pulley with 4 pickup points on it - works 100% and theres no machining of parts involved.

Paddy - Field Motorsport will modifiy your sump and pulley if you give them a bell.

Oh and the Zetec sensor uses reverse polarity to the Weber loom/ECU so you will have to cut you loom and swap round the wires.

This is what we did for Lewis's Zetec, which is also 36-1, but might be of some help.

St3V3_C: Thats how mine is mounted too and i've had no problems with it.

blackRS: You cant use the 1.8CVH Cambelt/sensor on a Zetec block unless you chop and reweld it up.

zvhturbo: why do you think its not 'proper' management? sounds like you want to see me at the pod?

as said thats how we did mine!

the bracket pioctured in these pics was shite! so made a new 1 up(pictured in steve c's post) @ Norris Designs with the help of steve & simon from SECS!

U can also modify the fly wheel so it has only 4 pick ups!

see http://www.zetec-turbo.co.uk/ for more on that
