I would def go for the 10inch rears, I remember seeing a photo of Eillmer Guido`s (sp) sapphire with them on in split rim form, was really tastey.

Nice one mate, did you have any problems with them catching on the inner arch? Also what offset were they?

Cheers

i've thought about going for this 'euro' look i think its called , but i was worried about the issues with the 4x4 system . i fancied a set of borbet or azev a with polished dish on mine with 9" rears but that stage has passed lol , just waiting on my set of shark tooth being refurbed at moment .

still think wider rears look ace tho .

cheers
gaz .

I dont see the point in fitting 9 -10inch wheels to then stick a tyre designed to fit on an 8inch wheel. Might just be me but i think stretched tyres looks wank. If you are doing it so you can fit wider tyres i think its a good idea and will look very good[back wheels on the white saph for example].

Looks good then imo.

Word of warning though i have 235's on the back of mine and there's very little room left under there.

Cossie Rich is the best person to talk to or Martin Hadland. He has 235 R888 which actually measures 243 and they are very tight to the inside, they also had to roll the outer arches.

you will have to flare the arch on the rear.. and the inner arch will rub like anything..it did when i ran 235's.

I have 235/40/18 on 8" with R888 on the rear of mine & they need a fair bit done not to rub under hard cornering or with a full load. Had my arches rolled orginally but have now had them completely cut away to clear. My car is standard road height.
