Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!

Series 2 back fire

When accelerating hard from 35-45 and 70-80mph my car is back-firing, but when beyond 80mph it only goes up to 104mph, at max speed i can hear a burring sound... Any idea's???

metering unit sounds fucked or it needs setup,i had the same problem.it wouldnt go over 110mph only plenty of popping and burring sounds.

not sure what sort of back firing it is but its always worth checking the plugs first and that they are gapped correctly!
