Default Sodding s2 fuel hoses!!!!!

This is the fourth time the fuel hose has started pi$$ing out petrol. Last time i got the problem sorted cos i had an unvented petrol cap but 2 months on and it's started leaking again.
Anyone else had this problem?
Ordered a new ford fuel hose (again) and it's going in tomorrow but i don't trust joe blogg mechanics so i've taken the day off to stay with it.
There's no hissing when i release the petrol cap so there's no pressure there. What could it be?

Might be an idea to get the fuel pressure checked.

Which hose was it? Was it fitted correcty?

is it a fuel hose that goes to the engine bay ? If so is the engine moving and breaking the fuel hose

Nope, the hose goes from the fuel tank to the fuel pump.
I've tried 10bar/150psi reinforced hose, tried 9bar/130psi hose, 2 standard ford hoses and every time it leaks where the fuel hose joins the fuel tank.
The jubilee clip is done tight enough but not too tight and it still blisters and leaks.
P.S the tank appears completely undamaged and is fairly new.

There is something wrong there. Are you SURE the tank isn't damaged?

Are you doing the clips up too tight, try a better type clip like Mikalor <spelling?

I thought it was pressure so even tried it without the petrol cap on ..... no luck there

got another standard Ford hose coming on monday, but i know where it will leak!

it's like it doesn't make a perfect seal around the tank (where the pipe attaches to the fuel tank).

I will get some better clips this weekend. I can't see why it would leak from there as there should not be that much pressure as the pump is "sucking" the fuel from the tank not pushing it into the tank.

i've had enough of covering myself in petrol each night chaning fuel hose.

As kim said....Tank looks in perfect order, had it on the MOT ramp and just leaks from pipe/tank join.
