Default Head Polish

Started the Headwork today. Stripped and got the Dremel Tool out for a spot of port polishing.

Mine still has all its original panels and paint and when I was preparing it for concours a few years back there wasn't a spot of rust anywhere on it. Mind you, it's only done 30k dry miles from new, never been used in winter and the first owner had something of a waxoyl fetish so that probably explains it lol!

Agree though that there aren't many that don't need or have had some restoration work at some point. In fact does anyone else have one that's totally unrestored and still mint?

Not an xr2 but my Dads old manager at work has an unregistered Supersport in his garage at home, a white one. I remember seeing it once as a child. As far as I know he still has it!!!
