Hi all

Was gonna repaint the silver bezels things that sit on the front fog lamps on an st170 as they are all stone chipped. How do they come off? I thought they would just twist off but they aint budging!

Hmm, i tried getting them off as well because when i bought the car they were grotty as hell, even after cleaning them. They wouldn't budge for me either, so i asked my mate (who's got a Focus Zetec) to have a go and they came off in his hand! Wasn't watching at the time tho, but he said they're just clipped in...

 

Yeah i got them out eventually! Just prized the whole surround off, then the silver part unclips from the black bit. I was going to repaint them but I gave them a go with a bit of scotchbrite first, and they came up perfect!
