does anyone know the location of the abs ecu in the small turbo escos',

same place as the BT, in the left hand side of the boot, behind the carpet trim, sits at an angle.

are the ecu's the same as the bt? think mine is playing up and need a new one.

99% sure they are the same - also the same system as on early scorpios - it is a differnent system to the saphs though , although it does use the same wheel speed sensors.

what symptoms are you having?

when i slow down from speed its ok untill about the last 5yrds and the abs kicks in and the pedal goes stiff and juddery, its only the last 5 yrds of slowing. ????......?

deffo sensor fault, take them all out and clean them and check the groves in the shafts and clean them also.

very common problem
