Default Which brake upgrade ST24

Hello All,

I'm seriously thinkin of upgrading the brakes on my Mondy to EBC grooved or drilled and grooved.

Anyone done this and notice dramatic improvement.
Running Green stuff pads.?

Where would you best advise I get the lot from EBC direct or elsewhere.?

Cheers

Why not fit the mondeo mk3 front calipers and the focus st170 300mm discs, that what i have done and it is a good upgrade.. i fitted mine along with grooved discs green stuff pads and braided hoses.

Looks sexy as fook Dave.

How much did all that cost though.? I was hoping not to need to change the calipers themselves, though I realise the Mk3's might be a whole lot better.

mk3 calipers are around Ł50 - Ł70 a pair.

the 300mm st170 grooved disks are about Ł70 a pair. greenstuff mk3 pads can be had for Ł30 a set on ebay.

its well worth doing, the brakes are rock solid on mine since i done that same conversion.

Those prices are spot on that is about what i paid, and about 35-40 quid for the braided hoses.

I uprated the rears to, just fitted standard dized grooved discs and green stuff pads.
