Right what do you lot think is the better exhaust for sound, build quality etc out of the mongoose, magnex, and scorpion, as i have a 4" magnex with flexi on my series 2 at the mo but have recently bought a mongoose and also been offered a scorpion, but have always wanted a mongoose on a series 2 have had plenty of scorpions and magnex's. But just wanted your lots opinions, cheers

I have mongoose 2.5" bore with 4" out and i think tune is ok but the sound is way too loud, i had to install extra silencer and i think its still too loud for my use. Mongoose is real boyracer choice! + i think the 4" out looks pretty funny. 2.5-3" out would be better.
I only choose my exhaust because i get it very very cheap in new.

 

4" outward rolled is the ONLY exhaust to have,suits ne ford!

 

Ive got a scorpion with 3" outward rolled tailpipe, find these roar like no other but do suffer from snapping just below the turbo joint, mines been ok since i welded it properly.

 

Always preferred the rumble on Mongoose's...

 

I'm not actually sure whats on mine (no markings or writing on it) or what size it is?! LOL
But it does have the flexi!

The Power Engineering systems are the best. Not made any more so would need to be a used one but they are the best looking and with a nice rumble but quiet at speed. What I've got on my S1.

well the magnex has the flexi but not the mongoose, the mongoose has a 3.5 inch tailpipe, also would the flexi section from the magnex fit with the mongoose system as its the same bore 2.5 inch bore????

got a mongooes on mine now and love it! Sounds alot better than my old magnex imo.

ive got a 3.5 mongoose but ive always loved the sound of a 4inch scorpion!!

 

they used to have a plaque on them but obviously its come off!! but yours is def the same as mine m8, have had a 3" magnex and now i have a 4" and i must say there is quite a difference imo, but just want to get this mongoose fitted but am not sure if i can fit the flexi of the magnex with the rest of the mongoose system??

Had a Scorpion on mine when I got it and it was too loud and knocked on the floor all the time. Sold that on ebay and bought a Mongoose 2.5" bore with 4" outward rolled pipe, definately the ONLY exhaust to have on a S2.

Karlos - Yours could be a goose, they arent marked at all.

Yeah it is a rolled in tailpipe and it's a CU*T to keep clean lol! Clean it then 2 mins later black again

 

MAGNEX is best build quailty,had one of thease on me old turbo 4in,Got scorpion on this one 4in too,its a little louder than Magnex

 

Always keep the autosol handy m8 lol, mine has a flexi why hasn't yours??

not sure wot mine is has oval silencer 4 inch tailpipe wiv slightly flared lip,not rolled tho and has flexi.sounds awesome.lots of people want flexis,ive heard that people say u can hear the turbo more thru it.is that true????????????

karlos,if its got a flexi then its a magnex as there the only one that come with a flexi

 

Not sure what exhaust Ive got on mine. think it might be a magnex full system, the previous owner had the tail pipe straight cut, also, im sure its had some baffles removed or something, as it is a fair bit louder than usual. Really nice warble sound up to about 3000 rpm then it goes into a sort of bassy rasp! (if that makes sense lol)

personally i do find it a bit loud at times... but my old exhaust just fell apart and it was only Ł10 on ebay!!. god bless spelling mistakes!

 

the 3" inch also comes with outward rolled 4" inch tail, karlos's tail in the picture is identical to the one i have on my rst at the mo

ive had them all basically,dont think u can beat a 4inch scorpion,they sound like an animal when your boosting!

 

I used to like my standard one tbh! But then I got a mongoose 2.5" + 3" pipe, was nice.

 

Yes mate it has the flexi, very handy when needing it out the way!!

 

4 inch scorpians sound sweet on boost i used to have a debaffled 4 inch.that was LOUD

 

Here's mine a full Scorpion Stainless Steel Exhaust System with a 4” rolled out tail pipe they sound awesome there's no reason I would change it for any thing else but don't get me wrong mongoose and magnex are still good makes.

My 2 muffler setup 2.5" Goose which is too loud and boyracer style for me

 

Had a scorpion on mine but was restricting the 1900 when it was in there, so had hayward and scott make me one up with large internals in the rear box

 

just checked the mongoose site and they do a outward rolled one,never used to,was always inward rolled on a 3"bore,the outward rolled is better lookin anyway
