Bin it off mate. Run a pipe from the rocker straight to the large diameter pipe that goes to the metering unit. Don't have anything connected to the inlet.

Won't that just allow oily vapour to enter the meter head?

This creates too much suction to the oil system, this results in an oil rich mixture entering all the turbo pies, intercooler and eventually the combustion chamber....this is not good at all as it increases detonation! The suction on the oil system must be minimal or vent to atmosphere (on non metering unit cars).

yes, which is what it does as std. The valve is there so as not pressurise the system on on boost., and draws vapour in at idle straight into the inlet - this is a legal emissions requirement. What the used to do on the race 3i's which aren't allowed seperators, is block the metering inlet, and run the rocker outlet into a plastic bottle, but obv dont seal the pipe. Depending on how heavy the engine breathes, you empty the bottle of oil every so often. Of course, best thing is to get an oil seperator.
