I am not able to put my saph into 2-4-reverse gear.

1-3-5 works fine, or should i say it goes in gear and moves forward.

chek the rear. gearbokmount if its broken the gearbok falls down in the rear.

Is that the mount behind the gear shifter. o you have any pics of where it is?

if it's the 4wd box then check the gearbox cradle where the selector sits, if the bolts have come out it'll be an arse

It is a 4x4. If the bolts had come out then would i only be able to get it into 1-3-5?

there are 4 bolts, 2 on the side at the back and 2 at the front on the top
if the back ones come out it'll be difficult to put it into the gears you mention
if the front ones come out then it'll be difficult to get inot he gears you can get now

poly replacements are available or i'm sure i read somewhere that the likes of martin @ reyland do solid ones

make sure there is a decent thread in the ali casing though as they have a habit of stripping, so maybe helicoils will do the trick

funnily enough, you are the second person this week who's had the same problem
