There is an 'item' that sits below and to the left at the back of the inlet manifold with one pipe going to the throttle body and the other going to the back of the inlet manifold, is it an idle speed control valve?

The reason i ask is that i have an air leak and i can here air being sucked in from the back of the manifold, i think the pipe that joins this 'item' to the inlet may be leaking.
The car idles badly for about 30sec then clears during which time the sucking i can here quiets down.

I have scoured ebay but cant find any such pipes and only one ICV but it's for a EFi RS and looks different to what i have, so i'm not sure.

Any help appreciated!

 

Is it the Auxilery air valve?
mine was leaking on mine (mfi) and I got another off a mate, also have a spare 1 if you need it

the aux air valve allows air through to help the car tickover when its started from cold
