orion ghia i mfi to carb or not to carb

Default orion ghia i mfi to carb or not to carb

now i no that goin to a carb is goin backwards but the mfi system isnt the best on the standard ghia i and would like to no what people would suggest on carbs im thinking maybe a set or twin downdraft weber 40s but thats just my opinion i need some advide and to do a little bit more research before i start this venture

no real problems going to twin 40s on that its only a 1600cvh afterall.

what do you want to acheive tho?

well the thing is im not wanting huge amount of power gains and i dont really wanna drop a rst engine in as everyone seems to do that now days and a ghia i with cars is abit unherd of and one off and the mfi system really isnt great

If not wanting mega power why not go with something that has VS to start with carb wise, such as weber 32DFT, as fitted to XR3 or 28/32TLDM as fitted to later XR2's.
