Default Focus RS brakes onto a 4x4 saff

Has anyone fitted a focus rs front brake set up on a 4x4 saff, ifso what is needed, is it just a case of getting brackets made up and ifso does anyone know where I can get them.

Cheers

iirc, the saff brakes are trailing edge and the FRS ones are leading edge. I dont know if that would be a problem. I seem to remember when I collected my AP's there was a little confusion over pistons sizes and order regarding leading/trailing specific calipers, though I cant remember the details now as it was ages ago

Im sure you could get brackets made up to fit them though.

Kelv is selling a FRS brake kit and i think it might be a full kit.

I would think that would be the case with different size pistons in the caliper but that would also make them sided, I used to have some 6 pots that had 2 big and 4 smaller pistons in each caliper.

I might be wrong but if that is the case I would think they could be swapped over without too much hassle.

The brakes are on there way to me so I haven't seen them in the flesh yet, I'm just trying to find out any problems I might have, like can I use the focus disc's etc.
Cheers

you can but its a pain in the ass due to offset of discs you really need a 355mm rotor and bell to use those calipers

An expensive conversion as i tried on a mates escos, cheaper to find a s/h set up imo

The focus disc will foul the steering arm sorry, you will need a flatter style disc.I even tried a pug v6 305mmx28 disc but theres not enough room for the brackets

hope this helps a bit
