How do you feed it through the grommet? Ive currently got a 2 piece cable fitted but its causing a bit of a wobble on the speedo so i've purchased a new one piece cable. How do you fit the new cable through that bulkhead grommet?

 

Just pushes through mate! Although i dont know if it's the cable causing the wobble, i changed my cable and mine still wobbles below about 20mph.

is the 2 peice cable not just the same as the 1 peice with the extension,i had a 2 peice and after removin the abs was too long,so just popped off the extension and it fitted

doubt the new cable wil solve ur problem,more than likely where the cable goes into has worn

 

As has already been said, i would be VERY surprised if the cable solves a wobbly speedo.

18 - 24 year old mechanical speedo units do tend to wobble a bit!
