Scorpio Ultima Cosworth
This isn't a project or anything, just my daily runabout that I thought I'd share with you. Fancied something big and comfortable - you can't always drive a Westfield everywhere! I can also cross "own a Cosworth" off my list now, although it's not the one most people lust after
but I didn't want another Sierra and Escort Cosworths are beyond my price range.
Owned it since Sep '07, bought it for £900, just over 136k miles. Needed a new set of front wishbones at last MOT but other than that everything works and it's never let me down (touch wood) - even had Motorsport Development put an Evolution chip in it just for giggles (I haven't RR'd it yet).
Also changed the speakers to JBL's and fitted a Kenwood media extender (lets you plug inIpods, aux in and ha sa USB port for direct MP£/AAC play from a USB drive).

Fuel - not very good - get 25mpg on my daily run to work - town > 50mph road > motorway > 40mph road - approx 19 miles each way.
Bringing it back from Southend to Blackpool - got 29mg at a stead 70mph.
But it cost me next to nothing an imo it's worth paying the fuel prices to waft around in absolute comfort
Reliability - nothing has gone wrong so far (touch wood). Air con isn't as cold as it should be, despite a regassing but it's adequate - everything else (and I mean EVERYTHING) works on the car A1 as it should.
I'd have another one at the drop of a hat.
