I currently have a 3" inwardly rolled magnex, but think it looks a little too smal, is it possible to fit a back box of another brand, ie scorpion or mongoose?

 

Hi mate i had either scorpion or magnex 3.5" on mine, bought a mongoose 4" back box but it was longer by alot, so thought i would change it from the down pipe, er no had to change whole system so maybe best to use same make as ya have buddy.

 

As said, would it not be easier just to cut off the tail you have and weld another one on that you want ?

Magnex do a 4" one the same as the 3" you have, I sold a full system a couple of months back whith a 4" tailpipe, I tried to fit it to the mongoose I replaced it with but it wouldn't go.

 

i didnt think Magnex did one for the 4x4 anymore?

 

I had to change the lot including the down pipe when going from tube torque to a mongoose

 

I don't know the one I sold was on my car when I got it but was definately magnex, it went from a 3" downpipe to 2 1 1/2" pipes with silencers and then back to 1 3" just before the backbox with a 4" tail pipe.
I changed as I wanted something more straight through so went for a mongoose but wish I had gone for the 4" tail pipe.
