had some running trouble latley so as i was fixing that today i throw the dump valve away an i must say i much prefer it without! car seems smoother too so im well happy! just thought i'd spread the word!!!!

Just took the Forge dump valve off my Fiesta today, chatter FTW!

 

thank god. chatter is 100 times better.

 

heres on for you, my mate has a series 1 with a chip, stage 3 turbo, standard intercooler and mongoose turbo back, he has a dump valve and is on mfi ,but it chatters why???? cheers

strange one that! maybe dump valve cant release enough preassure so the excess is goin to metering head? (maybe)

but it seems better with it off! so its stayin off! you get some really funny looks when it dumps people think your doin a million miles an hour..

mine used to chatter on a dump valve there was a small piece of copper like a restrictor in the t piece and it wasn't letting enough air through, i snipped it off with pliers and all was good, except my dump valve now works and does my head in

i'm short shifting just to avoid it

 

chuck it in the bin then

 

i'm saving for some new hoses, so i cant be bothered to pay 15 quid for a blanking plug only for it to be useless in a month or so.

i dont mind the noise, i actually like it when your gining it some right foot, but for town driving its just plain shit.
