My Orion has escort turbo wheels and arches and is lowered -60mm. The 195/55 r15's that came with tthe wheels scrub like hell all the time but im unsure if 195/45 r15's are goin to make that much difference.
What is the usual size used when using standard wheels on such a low car?

My Escort rst has standard wheels with 195/ 50 / 15s and is mega low with no scrubbage

 

195/50/15 is what you want IMO. Stupidly low is shite in all honesty, they handle like crap.

For reference, 195/55/15 is about 3% bigger, whilst 195/45/15 is about 3% smaller.

Cristian and Beccy - do you mean mega low profile or mega low lowered?
I have a set of 195/45 r 15 to try to be sure they dont rub but obviously dont want it handleing like a bag of .. (bearing in mind i know they arnt the best handling car out there!)

I mean mega lowered. These little cars really don't want to be much beyond 30mm lowered if you want it to feel nice and not suffer from stupid camber etc that can't easily be corrected.

 

mine was fine at 60 MM,if not a tad bouncy sometimes!
