Hello boys and girls.

Can somebody tell me what the different is between low impedance and high impedance EFI injectors?

And one more thing please. Which injector do you recomend to a 200-220 hp rs turbo converted EFI engine? Is it one size all fitment by the way?

all i know is u cant run them on each others,like u cant run cossie injectors on a efi car,
for ur power beige would do i would of thought,others will input tho im sure

 

low impedance injectors require around 6 amps to operate where as high impedance injectors require around 1A to operate.
Most vehicles require a resistor pack to operate low impedance injectors but i believe that Fords run low impedance anyways so a resistor pack isnt necessary unless you dont have one fitted of course.

 

So Im fitting EFI on my car. I will go for Megasuirt. Im going to use standard manifold adapter from a EFI car. Which injectors do you recomend for this? Standard or can I fit high impedance Bosch injectors?

yes as Carl says you can use either with megasquirt! Sorry i didnt read the post right in the last thread... bet you didnt want to know the history of an injector, just which ones work lol..
