you can throw that manifold away if it's gona be in a rwd or 4x4 and the inlet as well. why do folk put these in place of a cozzy mota i don't get it surely not as reliable and will be the limiting factor of the conversion ????? looks good in nothing else
As said above, if he rwds that he is going to have to throw the exhaust manny away as the turbo will end up through the passenger bulk head. The Inlet will also need to be cut up and the TB changed ends.
Unless he bolts it up to some evo running gear?

Mind you might be worth junking that exhaust manny. I know they have made some reasonable numbers in the past but i still think it can be improved on. There is a massive change of volumes as it enters the collector. Going to cause loss of gas speed and turbulance.
I'm sure a better collector design could be used but it wouldn't be so easy/cheap to manufacture.

Your right mate exhaust manifold and inlet will go for cossie style exhaust manifold and a new inlet from area six motorsport to turn the throttle body towards the front of the engine so these will soon be up for sale . My engine was going to be fitted in to my mk3.5 fiesta but there was a change down the line somewhere for a very quick car but with a zetec twist

Paul Cheshire – Fiesta Mk 3.5 Zetec Turbo
The ‘Urban Myth’ – a Fiesta Turbo with a 522HP lump – never seen by anyone, so does it exist?? Of course it does! But when you’ve spent all your money on the engine, finishing the car takes even more time and money!! Paul will hit the highway late in 2007

Paul, Yes it is Dan!
Luckily for all you guys posting about the manifold, I managed to loose this for Paul when he kindly lent it to me as a back up should my home made example fail on the dyno!
My shitty example did in the end do the business! Unfortunatly whilst posting his manifold and EXTERNAIL WASTEGATE back to him it was lost in the post! It was subject to a claim but this didnt even anywhere near cover the cost of his loss! Bearing in mind he did this as a favour to a guy he had never met just to see what figures could be made on a dyno should a failure happen (an possibly pop his record), I say fair fuckin play!
Wish you the best of luck Paul and I would like to be able to help you in ANY way possible mate!

Its started mate all engine work has been done and the car is in the workshop gettin fabricated as we speak, the bodyshell has been fully seam welded , apetures aswell , spare wheel well will be cut out and plated , fuel filler cap to be plated, rear arches to be cut back and plated for extra travel for 19 inch rims , carbon wrc roof scoop to be cut into the roof or i may go for full carbon roof i dont know yet , full customcages rollcage fitted but modifed to my spec , boxing in on all rollcage cross bars , bodykit to be fitted . Next on the list is the big tunnell , engine mounts , gearbox mounts , wrc diff type cradle maybe built into the rollcage etc etc hope to put some pics on when my pc sorted but cheers anyway
why dont you use evo transmission then you get the best of both worlds a reliable engine and reliable transmission
after all evo is king
