Bargain!

Nice way to save weight and bin off the sun roof.

Did you weigh the old and the new just to compare? Good saving even a couple kgs at the furthest point away from the centre of gravity.

Engine sounds like a wee monster too

Gus, as per our text conversation last night - give Turbo Dynamics a bell and ask them if they can do you an Evo 9 GT compressor housing with GT30 compressor wheel, roller bearing core and GT30 turbine wheel in an external wastegate twin scroll back end

It's essentially a FP Red but i seem ro recall you can only get the Red on an internal gate setup

If they could do that then they would be able to walk on water Evo turbo's run backwards and the GT turbo's do not.

I stand corrected! < one of those for me

I'd like to see how one of the FP Reds behaves on a stroker engine - on the digging i did on it last night i was led to believe it was GT30 based wheels...

I can only find it in an internally gated setup and i know Gus wants to run external...

Have you tried the FP Red yet Mark?

Not seen a red yet, The green is a ok turbo but I prefer the GT30 but it does cost more.

Gus, that GT3076 i used earlier in the year on a 2.0 with the smaller exhaust housing did 517bhp with 470lb/ft - i'm sure the stroker motor will prefer the bigger exhaust housing

Should make for a fast motor

Gus those pistons look like manley and not weisco,
I would run a Full race/AMS/Sheara GT3076 with a .82 housing.
